Pack Attack takes on Ameriquest Field; Fans win

ARLINGTON, TX (May 7)--With 20 minutes to go before first pitch of Sunday's Yankees/Rangers game, hundreds of fans of all ages were gathered on the concourse at the home plate entrance. Their goal? Win big. And they did. Thanks to key prize support from the Major League Baseball Players Association as well as the Texas Rangers merchandise department, fans were vying for autographed baseballs and game-used jersey cards of team favorites Michael Young, Hank Blalock, and others. Plus, the day's Grand Prize was an Ameriquest Field game-used base from a 2004 date with the Yankees--something that made fans decked out in pinstripes awfully pleased.

The drawing followed 90 minutes of pure pack ripping as Rangers fans got a case of Pack Attack fever. A total of 10 rounds were played with group sizes ranging from 10 to 50 participants. Plus, all fans who purchased a four-pack brick received a special Rangers team set, manufactured by Upper Deck, that had a $35 value. Just how great of a day was it at the ballpark? Take a look...
